Le Louvre and Mona Lisa

Whilst in Paris first on the list was to visit Le Louvre where we managed to see Mona Lisa.

It is an incredible piece of art that i feel lucky to have seen from only a few feet away.

Le louvre is a very inspiring building with there been many great works of art hung there.

The side streets were covered in street art and these were two which i liked but both for different reasons.

Enterprise.......wool and chiffon handmade bag

Handmade shopping bags.

I have designed a small shopping bag that can be used as a hand bag or as shopping bag as it can hold a small amount of weight.

There is no fastening or zips on the top of the bag, therefore it can be folded up easily so can be carried around everywhere.

I have used two contrasting fabrics, a wool and a thin chiffon, the colours are very contrasting combining a grey with a dark purple which gives the bags a little twist. They are elegant yet strong with the wool.

A long thin design so they fit a lot of things in, yet aren't bulky. Creating a multipurpose design for shopping to avoid using paper or plastic bags or for just everyday use.

Enterprise.... Hand made bags

Hand made bags from recycled good quality fabric.

These bags have been made from only good quality fabric and well made meaning they will last longer as overall they are better quality.

I have used off cuts of fabric meaning nothing has gone to waste.

These are a few samples of bags and the fabric that i could use, there are several different designs, but i just want to carry forward three. It is enough for there to be variation for people to choose from but a small enough number so the collection can easily be expanded when needed.
